Oil Filter Replacement Mess

Looking for some ideas/suggestions from everyone on how you change your filter without leaking/spilling oil on the cross member and other areas.
Thanks.

Some suggest getting the filter to the point of almost off and then slipping a large ziploc or equivalent plastic bag with no holes and it should catch the initial leakage.

Not easy. Good luck.

Three words...oil filter relocation. I bought a kit off Amazon and relocated it to the frame rail behind the radiator. Much easier to replace now.
