rebel tick

2019 rebel owner ,100 plus miles , what's with the cold start tick ,lasts 3 seconds on cold start ups , is this normal

That's normal on the Hemi engine. I have it on my Challenger as well.

Depends what's ticking. If you can sprinkle salt on a Unicorns horn, it will tell you the secret of the Hemi tick.

Otherwise, make some popcorn, get a warm blanket and curl up to your interweb machine and read the 15+ years of Hemi tick speculation.

Its a 5.7 hemi thing. My chargers did it 2007/2015 ... my rebel does it too

2008 Hemi, 2010 Hemi and now a 2017 Hemi.

They all have ticked.

I did notice the downsized oil filter in my 2017...speculation is it is to increase oil pressure.

Alas....still ticks.

Busted exhaust manifold bolts... Pull the manifolds and replace or put headers on it.

"Mystery" solved... Everyone send me 5 bucks for the tech assist... :-)
